Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress who is best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio she left high school and moved in Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. She was struggling to get by and was offered her first acting role as Rachel's Room's lead character. In 2002, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 and she shared the Screen Actors Guild Award (with other cast members) with her. Grace wanted to focus on film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. She starred as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken 2008) on Suburban Girl as well as the Jane Austen Book Club. In 2008, she played the same role on Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace played Shannon on the final episode and two other episodes. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in the episode Californianation of the 6th Season. The role she plays is Faith, a groupie who acts as a muse to the stars, and draws the eye to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Being part of the Gyllenhaal Family she is the daughter and elder sister of the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first roles were in films of her father as an adolescent. With her brother, she appeared on the screen in Donnie Darko (2000). She then appeared on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received critical praise for her lead performances in Secretary (2002 an erotic romantic drama) and Sherrybaby (606) Both that earned their Golden Globe Award nods. Following several commercially-successful films, like World Trade Center in 2006 she gained greater recognition for her role as Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). In recognition of her role as a single mother, in Crazy Heart (2009) she received a nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The roles she played in subsequent films include Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang and Hysteria. Some of her other parts include acting as a Secret Service agent of Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer for Secret Service in White House Down 2013 as well singing in Frank 2014 and as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the main character. In 2021 Gyllenhaal made her writing and directed debut in the psychological thriller The Lost Daughter for which she won The Lost Daughter the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
